Clear Sheet glass is a sheet of glass made by the technology of Glaverbel glass, was invented by Glaverbel Manufacturing Company of Belgium in 1961. Compared with the float process which dominates the world glass industry at present, Glaverbel process integrates Pittsburgh process and Colburn process. By adopting the molding pool of Pittsburgh process and the turning roll of Colburn process, Glaverbel process achieves the goal of drawing flat glass at liquid level - able to draw 0.8-12mm thick glass, and is mainly characterized by long-term stable production of thin glass with a thickness of below 3mm, good flatness, small thickness difference and excellent quality. Such ultra-thin glass is mainly used in instrument, electronics and handicraft manufacturing industries.
